Provide Siemens PCS support to manufacturing activities:
Respond promptly to shift operations requests as PCS Advanced User
Work with Shift Supervisor and Shift Lead to perform manual intervention tasks related to the PCS system to ensure continuous operation of critical processes.
Manual Intervention Tasks:
Execute PCS manual interventions as needed, following established procedures.
Collaborate with shift production personnel to address process intervention requests.
Document all manual intervention activities accurately.
Assist in reviewing the monthly Advanced User access report generated.
Shift Support:
Coordinate with other shift Automation resources to ensure smooth handovers.
Contact and assist duty Automation Engineer on resolving complex technical tasks.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
Report any safety incidents promptly.
Comply with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Hands-on experience and basic understanding of manufacturing process control systems usage.
Ability to follow procedures.
Good communication skills and a team player.
Additional Information:
Training will be provided on Siemens PCS 7 and other relevant systems.
May be required to work the night shift on a temporary basis if necessary.
Job Requirements:
May be required to perform as a subject matter expert for equipment and/or systems.
Possess good communication skills.
Possess good troubleshooting skills.
Full awareness of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses/goggles, gloves, and safety shoes.
Ability to work in confined spaces if required.
Ability to work around chemicals (alcohols, acids & bases).
