Network Security Engineer

About the job

• Firewalls: Expert in Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls, beginner or intermediate knowledge in Cisco firewalls.
• Azure Load Balancers: Proficient in Azure Load Balancers.
• Proxy Servers: Experience with proxy servers, preferably Symantec Bluecoat ProxySG.
• Network & Security Technologies: Knowledge of general network & security technologies/protocols like routing, DNS, LDAP, syslog, NTP, SNMP, SSH, HTTPS, AAA, SMTP, etc.
• Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with monitoring tools for network security devices.
• Log Review: Experience in log review, log monitoring, and firewall rule review.
• Troubleshooting: Strong troubleshooting skills for reported issues.

Optional (any 1 of the below is mandatory)

• Cisco router and switches
• Cisco ISE
• Radware Anti-DDOS | Absolute Vision
• Symantec 2FA VIP

Familiarity with:

• Basic understanding of logging methods.
• Basic understanding of Windows and Linux.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts.
• Good documentation skills.
• Familiarity with the vulnerability management process.
• Basic understanding of identity and access management processes and PAM.
