Network Engineer (Firewall |CCNA ) | $ 7000| Singaporean Only!

Requirements and Responsibilities:

1. Checking the logs of the network equipment and network links every morning to ensure no abnormal activities.

2. Install, maintain and upgrade all hardware, firmware and software used.

3. Apply software and security patches as prescribed in Part 2C Patch Management Requirements.

4. Fine-tune the network or system parameters.

5. Patch/Re-Patch cables in patch panels, network points and all network equipment.

6. Labelling of cables, patch panels, racks and equipment.

7. Create, delete or modify access rights for the network equipment related user accounts in terms of authentication, authorization and accounting.

8. Connect Customer-approved network equipment to the Customer’s network.

9. Manage IP addresses and IP assignment scheme.

10. Manage firewall rules setting and security configuration e.g. add, delete or modify firewall rules, change encryption keys.

11. Perform troubleshooting to resolve network issues.

12. Manage incidents as specified in Part 2D Service Management Requirements.

13. Document and maintain configurations of all network hardware, cabling information and software used in the operating environment.

14. Perform routine backup of network configuration for network equipment including firewall rules.

15. Perform NAC ClearPass administration for security posture check enforcement.

Shall additionally have one of the following:

1. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP and above).

2. Alcatel network certification or equivalent.

3. Administrative certification of firewall (e.g. Juniper, Cisco, Sidewinder).
