Network Engineer - 120-150K SGD

Our client is one of the largest financial organizations globally. Due to business needs, a network engineer is needed to join their team.

They are looking for someone who has 3+ years’ experience working primarily with customer connectivity systems at scale. This role is for individuals who can work effectively independently and as part of a wider global team. They are looking to talk to people with:

• A passion for technology, with an ability and desire to pick up new technologies
• Commercial experience in maintaining and deploying Arista/Cisco/Juniper equipment and services
• Strong sense of independent work ownership and documentation for the team
• Use of automated deployment and configuration tools for network devices
• Experience and use of best practices for Linux network performance and troubleshooting
• Application layer Switching, Routing (BGP), and Multicast (IGMP, PIM) experience
• Experience with high volume and real time packet capture and analysis
• Automation of routine tasks, system health checks, and system configurations.
• Ability to work a shared on-call schedule Sunday through Friday for 24/6 support
• Experience with financial exchange protocols and terminology is a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills are a must
• A demonstrated ability to research and accurately resolve customer questions and problems in a timely manner.
• English is required, any Japanese, Cantonese, or Mandarin speaking ability is a plus
