Network Engineer

Job Description:

1. Oversees projects management and implementation.
2. Codify implementation design into documentation for end user's record.
3. Conduct training and presentations for team members and end-users.
4. Provide technical testing or support to pre-sales engineers/customers on the network setup.
5. Assist in technical communications with customers/partners to ensure closure of sales orders.
6. Ensure that the solution can deliver on the customer’s requirements.
7. Work closely with Level 2 support if an issue is escalated to Level 3.
8. Maintain rapport with customers and competence in managing vendors.
9. Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Job Requirements:

1. Degree/Diploma in IT Networking or equivalent.
2. At least 2 years of work experience in a SI or distributor environment with network security skillset.
3. Good IT knowledge in OSI 7 Layer, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN technologies, and network security.
4. Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
5. Excellent communication and analytical skills.
6. Experience in network security projects implementation.
7. Positive working attitude and a good team player.
8. Willingness to work extended office hours and after hours when needed.
9. Exposure to security solutions such as Firewall, local balancer, or endpoint protection will be an added advantage.
