Network and Systems Engineer

Job Description:

Rack/stack IT Equipment

Installation/configuration of various OS (Windows, Linux, Vmware)

Work closely with Team Leader to meet system delivery milestones

Engage with back-line support and/or with vendor’s support to diagnose and rectify technical problems.

Assist in day-to-day operation of the System Delivery team

Carry out other technical related duties that may be required.

Design and implement LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.

Configure and Network security appliances such as firewalls, routers, and switches

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent

Must be able to configure/design and provide consultation for Cisco Switches, Router and Fortigate Firewall

3 – 10 years of relevant experience in server implementation / operation / administration for Vmware / Storage / Redhat / Windows.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Possess initiative with positive working attitudes

Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work after office hours/weekend for systems preventive maintenance.
