As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Manager to manage our music school in a retail setting. We look forward to having that individual join our team and play a key role in managing daily operations, human resources, customer service, and sales and enrollment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Centre Operations:
- Oversee the daily operations of the school to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Manage scheduling, room allocation, and facility maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all operational policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining positive relationships with parents and students.
- Ensure the reception area is welcoming and operates effectively.
- Monitor and enhance customer satisfaction through feedback and proactive engagement.
- Train and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and support a team of teachers by fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
- Assist in training, mentoring, and evaluating teaching staff to ensure high teaching standards.
- Facilitate communication between teachers and the management team.
- Administrative Duties:
- Handle enrollment processes, including onboarding of new students and ensuring accurate records.
- Monitor inventory and order necessary supplies for the centre.
- Prepare reports on operational performance and student enrollment.
- Strategic Contributions:
- Work with management to implement initiatives that improve operations, enhance student experience, and grow the school's enrollment.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to strategic discussions.
- Sales and Enrollment:
- Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to drive student enrollment.
- Collaborate with marketing and admissions teams to achieve enrollment targets.
- Provide excellent customer service to prospective students and parents.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Proven experience in operations management, human resources, and sales.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with the music education industry is a plus.
