Museum Associate - Fundraising, Events, Partnerships & Community Development

This position reports to the Museum Assistant Manager and the Museum Fundraising committee and will look after the fundraising, events, community development and partnership development aspects for The Private Museum, which is a registered charity and non-profit organisation. This will include the fundraising strategies, planning and execution of fundraising events, pitching to donors/sponsors, donor engagement, preparation of marketing materials, partnership development strategies etc.

Specifically, the candidate will be engaged in the following:

Key Responsibilities

1. Fundraising Campaign Support

1. Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns, including the Charity Golf and Annual Gala.
2. Help disseminate fundraising materials such as appeals, event invitations, and thank-you letters.
3. Track donations and sponsor commitments, updating internal systems and databases.

2. Event Coordination & Logistics

1. Assist with event planning, coordination, and logistics for fundraising events and venue hire bookings.
2. Assist in organising museum tours and public outreach programmes.
3. Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth operations.

3. Donor & Sponsor Support

1. Help identify new potential partners and sponsors, providing research and outreach support.
2. Assist in maintaining relationships with existing donors and sponsors.
3. Assist Museum Director and Manager in pitches to secure funding.

4. Administrative Support

1. Provide administrative support in the management of donor databases and maintain accurate records.
2. Monitor and report on Fundraising progress, helping track goals and key metrics.
