Job Description:

As a D365 techno functional consultant, you are outgoing, dedicated, and responsible. You thrive on taking the initiative and actively communicate at different levels, depending on the target audience. Your approach is analytical, proactive, and pragmatic, and you are expected to take ownership of tasks. You are a multi-skilled person, handling both technical and functional tasks.

You possess an excellent understanding and knowledge of the core Microsoft Dynamics 365 retail modules and have relevant technical hardware/application experience. You can translate this knowledge into pragmatic and sustainable POS solutions of high quality, in accordance with business requirements.

You are responsible for supporting all business units with AX / D365 related issues/matters reported via ticket system, email, or by phone. You can prioritize workload, meet project deadlines, and achieve results. Additionally, you will assist with assessments, estimates, and recommendations for the prioritization of change requests and post-support together with the business owners.

Technical Responsibilities

• Perform configurations as well as communicate customization requirements with the technical team.
• Able to work in tandem with functional consultants, business users, and technical team members.
• Writing technical descriptions, fixing code for bugs, creating data fixes, unit testing of code, code reviews, and moving code for release.
• Provide guidance on the usage of OOTB features and provide technical design or develop/customize solution approach for identified business gaps.

Functional Responsibilities

• Work closely with the ERP Architect on regional ERP post-support and implementation (Wholesale, Retail, E-commerce, Omni-channel).
• Cooperate with the global AX / D365 Team (EU) to actively escalate any issues to our AX / D365 Vendor and/or Microsoft, if deemed necessary.
• Gather business requirements and support end users.
• Perform system configuration, run user training, and drive workshops.
• Ensure that the organization implements a complete solution that meets their business needs and lead the project throughout the development and support phases.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Microsoft ERP products like Navision, AX 2012 or D365, X++ development, Azure DevOps, and hands-on experience with integrations.
• Strong experience working on full life cycle implementations.
• 2+ years of experience in the Retail Industry.
• Innovative and proactive in solving problems and improving processes/tools.
• Analytical, self-motivated, responsible, flexible, and with a positive work attitude.
• Experience with JIRA and working in Agile teams is an advantage.
