Position: Mobility Solutions Architect

Experience: 10-12 years

Contract Duration: 3 Years

Responsibilities (MUST Have):

• Develop comprehensive Wi-Fi network architecture based on business requirements, considering scalability, security, and performance.
• Create detailed network design documents, including diagrams, technical specifications, and configurations.
• Lead the implementation and deployment of Wi-Fi networks, ensuring adherence to design specifications and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with network engineers, IT teams, and vendors to integrate Wi-Fi solutions with existing infrastructure seamlessly.
• Conduct thorough testing of Wi-Fi networks to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, coverage issues, and security vulnerabilities.
• Optimize Wi-Fi configurations and settings for maximum efficiency and reliability.
• Implement security measures for Wi-Fi networks, including encryption protocols, authentication mechanisms, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Provide troubleshooting and support for escalated Wi-Fi network issues, collaborating with support teams as needed.

Technical Skills:

• Deep understanding of Wi-Fi standards (e.g., 802.11ac, 802.11ax), protocols, and technologies.
• Deep understanding of network standards, protocols, and technologies.
• Proficiency in network design tools, network management systems, and performance monitoring tools.
• Strong knowledge of network security principles and best practices.

Technology Skills:

• Wireless - Cisco Meraki and Mist Wireless, RF configuration, wireless security, Wi-Fi deployments (Meraki & Mist)
• Security - Cisco ISE, 802.1X, TACACS, Firewalls (Palo Alto), digital certificates, IPSEC, access control for IoT devices.
• Routing and switching – TCP-IP, Route-Redistribution, IP Routing, STP, RSTP, 802.1x, MAB, Port Channel, Stacking.
• Troubleshooting- Debugging, log analysis, Wireshark, and packet capture analysis.
• Wireless network Migration skills.
• Ekahau site survey, reporting and wireless troubleshooting using Ekahau sidekick.

Preferred Certifications:

• Cisco CCNP Wireless, CWNP certifications (CWNA, CWAP, CWDP, CWSP)
• JNCIA-MistAI and JNCIS-MistAI Wireless
• Ekahau Certified Survey Engineer (ECSE)
• Equivalent industry certifications.
