MIS Senior IT Manager (MUST have Management Information Systems/ Strategy)

• Position: MIS Senior IT Manager (MUST have Management Information Systems/ Strategy)
• Location: Changi Business park
• Working hours: 5 days work week; Monday to Friday: 9am - 6pm
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Basic up to $9,500 + Performance Bonus +
• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Financial Technology (FinTech) Industry

Main Responsibilities:

• Work with stakeholders to identify business needs and requirements
• Develop and execute the MIS strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals
• Identify emerging technologies and trends to enhance our MIS capabilities
• Lead the design, implementation and maintenance of information systems as part of SDLC and data management practices
• Ensure the security, integrity and accessibility of data
• Write functional and technical documentation for applications and reporting solutions
• Perform system architecture design and code reviews to ensure high-quality code standards
• Establish data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance and quality of data protection and privacy
• Implement data analytics initiatives to support strategic planning and operational efficiency
• Drive continuous improvements and lead initiatives for system enhancement and process optimization
• Lead and mentor the team in defining project requirements, tracking, functional documentation and training materials
• Work with relevant stakeholders on user acceptance testing
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance data literacy across the organization
• Plan and conduct end-user training
• Evaluate and recommend technology investment, manage budget ensuring efficient allocation of resources
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of experience in MIS with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Proven track record in project management and system implementation
• Strong understanding of database management, data analytics and information systems architecture
• Preferably with experience in POS or Retail industry
• Bilingual in English & Mandarin to liaise with associates who can only speak Mandarin
