Microsoft Azure - Senior Technical Analyst

Position Overview: We are looking for a Microsoft Azure Senior Technical Analyst with 6-8 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing Azure cloud solutions, ideally within a banking or financial services environment. The role requires expertise in Azure infrastructure, security, networking, and governance, with a focus on creating scalable, secure, and compliant cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available Azure cloud infrastructure solutions aligned with banking industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the solution design and deployment of Azure services such as virtual machines, storage, networking, and databases.
• Implement and manage Azure governance, security policies, and best practices, ensuring compliance with banking regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, SOX).
• Manage Azure identity services such as Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM) for securing access to cloud resources.
• Configure and manage Azure security features, including Azure Security Center, Azure Defender, and Azure Sentinel.
• Deploy and manage Azure networking services, including VPNs, ExpressRoute, Virtual Networks, and Application Gateways, ensuring secure connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.
• Work on cost optimization, ensuring efficient use of Azure resources and managing cost-saving strategies.
• Lead and support cloud migration projects from on-premises infrastructure to Azure, including application and data migration.
• Provide expertise in Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates or Bicep, and container orchestration with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service).
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Azure infrastructure and services.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to create roadmaps for Azure adoption and transformation.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in solutioning and implementing Azure cloud solutions, ideally in a banking or financial services environment.
• Expertise in Azure security and governance, including identity management, encryption, and compliance.
• Strong working knowledge of Azure networking, VPNs, ExpressRoute, and secure cloud connectivity.
• Experience in cloud migration projects and hybrid cloud environments.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps, automation tools, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Familiarity with cost management strategies for optimizing Azure resource usage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or other relevant certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305).
• Strong background in banking or financial services is highly preferred.
