Job Description:

System Support and Administration

• Fulfilment of service requests
• Troubleshooting of issues
• Extraction of logs and analysis
• Onboarding/offboarding and account creation
• Escalation of issues to our vendors (including Microsoft) and ensure closure of issues
• Tracking of dashboards and providing analysis/recommendations
• Tracking of licence utilization

Project Support

Supports projects that are integrated with Microsoft 365, e.g. SSO with Azure, App registration, creation of groups.

Knowledge Management Initiatives

Supports Knowledge Management initiatives related to Microsoft 365, e.g. retention policy, taxonomy, SharePoint Storage Management, Media Portal Optimisation.

Stay Up-to-Date with Microsoft 365

Keep up to date on Microsoft 365 services and licensing models and provide analysis/recommendations on areas that would be beneficial.

Conduct POCs

Conduct POC on new services/functions within Microsoft 365, as well as products that can be integrated with Microsoft 365 (e.g. backup solution, archival solution, adoption or Data Loss Prevention products).

Change Management Support

Supports the team in the change management activities when new initiatives are rolled out, including providing training, preparation of user guides and communications.

Project Management Support

Supports team in project management, which includes participating in technical discussions, processing of payments, putting up approval papers, arranging discussions, disseminating project information to project stakeholders, monitoring the achievement of project activities on behalf of the project manager, developing and maintaining project deliverables under the direction of the project director, and gathering and inputting data into databases.

Who will make a good fit for this role?

1. Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365 and PowerShell scripting, with at least 2 years of prior experience as a system administrator.
2. Experience in using Power App or Power Automate to optimise workflow, and creating dashboards using Power BI Pro will be an added advantage.
3. Relevant certifications e.g. Microsoft 365 Administrator, Azure Administrator, Azure Architecture. Professional certificates in ITIL, PMP or Agile will also be advantageous.
