Job Responsibilities

Merchandise Development & Procurement

• Collaborate with the brand’s vision to curate an appealing merchandise assortment. Research and source new brands through fashion showrooms and trend analysis.
• Partner with stakeholders for seasonal buying aligned with business goals.
• Manage procurement tasks, including order preparation, sales projections, and creating purchase orders in Xilnex.
• Oversee internal approval processes and coordinate with finance for timely payment execution.
• Work closely with the logistics team to ensure seamless inbound shipments.

Performance Management and Strategic Planning

• Monitor open-to-buy (OTB) planning and the overall purchasing budget.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve KPIs for sales targets through demand forecasting, promotional initiatives, and sales team training.
• Optimize sell-through rates by adjusting product offerings, refining stock turnover, implementing markdowns, and enhancing visual merchandising.
• Strengthen vendor relationships through informed negotiations, fostering collaboration, and exploring diverse buying and payment strategies to maximize trade margins.
• Stay informed on sales performance and key metrics to make product and brand adjustments as needed.

Launch Coordination & Collaborative Efforts

• Execute pre-season activities, including product launches, allocation strategies, pricing, and merchandise planning.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, adapting to regional nuances and competitive dynamics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the sales potential of new collections.

Training and Retail Support

• Deliver seasonal product training to in-store staff to ensure effective product knowledge.
• Regularly share insights with online and offline sales teams, gathering their feedback for continuous improvement.
• Provide on-ground support at retail locations and customer events as needed.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of merchandising, buying processes, and a strong knowledge of fashion products.
