Merchandising Manager

Role Description

As a Merchandise Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the planning, procurement, and marketing of merchandise in our retail outlets.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that product assortments are optimized to meet sales goals and inventory levels are maintained to support business objectives.
• Issuing purchase orders to suppliers.
• Liaising with suppliers and expediting delivery of goods.
• Sourcing of suppliers.
• Processing delivery notes and invoices for goods received.
• Managing shipment order timelines.
• Price negotiation.
• Maintaining proper purchasing records.
• Maintaining and monitoring stock level movement.
• Attending company and supplier exhibitions.
• Producing similar designs on bestsellers to ensure maximum profits.

Requirements

• Must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of working experience in merchandising or a relevant buying role.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of retail sales, inventory methods, and forecasting techniques.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Willingness to travel overseas, such as to China, Europe, and Malaysia.
