Merchandiser

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Apparel Merchandiser to join our team. The Apparel Merchandiser will be responsible for ensuring the successful selection, procurement, and presentation of our apparel product lines, especially in sportswear. This role requires a deep understanding of fashion trends, consumer preferences, and inventory management, alongside strong communication skills to collaborate with suppliers, designers, and retail teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Development
   • Collaborate with clients and suppliers to curate collections that align with current trends and seasonal demands.
   • Develop and implement product samples that balance style, quality, and profitability.
2. Vendor and Supplier Relations
   • Build and maintain strong relationships with apparel suppliers and manufacturers.
   • Ensure compliance with quality standards and resolve any issues related to product quality or delivery delays.
   • Maintain a checklist for clients to track the project deadlines.

Qualification & Skills

• Proven experience (2+ years) as an apparel merchandiser or in a similar role within the textile industry.
• Strong understanding of fashion trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with merchandising software or ERP systems.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

Physical Demands

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak seasons.
• Occasional travel to Cambodia, China, and others.
