Medical Technologist - LIS (GOVT/Central) - up to $3800 #HAO

Salary: up to $3800

Working Days & Hours: Mon-Fri office hrs

Location: Novena

Job Description:

1. Provide administrative and technical support for the management and operation of the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and other related systems.
2. Assist Laboratory staff with issues related to LIS and other related systems.
3. Work closely with LIS vendors and various Synpaxe teams on systems related matters.
4. Coordinate with other LIS officers on cross-institutional systems related matters.
5. Perform laboratory tests on analysers that are interfaced to LIS according to Operation Guidelines (OPG).
6. Perform appropriate QC/calibration and troubleshoot QC/calibration failure.
7. Perform basic troubleshooting of analyser/equipment malfunction and interface problems.
8. Maintain and manage workload.
9. Perform laboratory tests and report results within turn-around time (TAT).
10. Update external laboratory results into LIS.

Job Requirements: Min Degree in Biomedical Science/Chemistry/Medical Laboratory Science or similar with min relevant experience in LIS.
