Carry out technical work in the laboratory; receive specimens, perform tests orders, review and record test results, and manage specimens after tests have been conducted
Ensure equipment, upkeep of the laboratory and inventory are maintained at high quality or conducive for daily work
Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures, internal and external quality controls (QCs) requirements; troubleshoot any test non-compliance
Regular review of maintenance, QC and communication logs. Active response in problem-solving
Handle phone inquiries, print and pack reports
Flexible to adapt with changing work arrangement depending on staffing needs
Any other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
At least Diploma in Biomedical Science/ Molecular or any related course of study
Fresh Graduate or at least 1 year of laboratory work experience in a clinical laboratory.
Candidates with extensive years of relevant experience, in at least 1 of the following disciplines (i.e. Chemistry & Immunology, Haematology or Molecular Diagnostics) will be considered as Senior Medical Technologist
Computer literate - competency in using various laboratory softwares
Responsible, multi-tasking, meticulous, diligent, patient and tolerant
Team player with positive working and learning attitude, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
