You will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment pertaining to women's health issues. This includes working with women and their families in the medical specialties of Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Urogynaecology and Reproductive Medicine. You will work with adolescent women, adult women and women in midlife or elder years on their pregnancy, reproductive treatment, pregnancy loss, abortion and reproductive health issues and the impact on their coping. Your role is to provide financial assistance, conduct psychosocial assessment and rendering appropriate support and care, loss and bereavement support, and psychosocial issues such as social support and relationship violence. In the process of assistance, you provide counselling, presence of support, navigating healthcare system to meet patient's needs and collaborate with agencies in the community.
