A Medical Laboratory Technologist position is available in the Department of Neuromuscular Laboratory at the National Neuroscience Institute, Singapore. The Neuromuscular Laboratory provides sub-specialty laboratory services essential for the diagnosis of neurological, as well as muscle and nerve diseases. These include a muscle and nerve biopsy histopathology diagnostic service, and immunological tests for auto antibodies to neural antigens associated with neurological diseases.

As part of the team, you will be:

1. Assessing the suitability of samples.
2. Registering and processing samples.
3. Conducting stock takes and ordering consumables.
4. Performing routine tests according to protocols.
5. Resulting in lab information system.
6. Responsible for the basic maintenance of equipment.
7. Performing administrative duties such as attending to laboratory visitors, answering phone calls, and providing laboratory results and test information.
