Mechanical Maintenance Engineer [Chemical | Up to $5.5K]

Responsibilities

1. Lead a team of mechanical supervisors and contractors to perform plant maintenance, modifications, and construction activities, ensuring timely, safe, and efficient execution with minimal disruption to plant operations.
2. Coordinate with plant operators and maintenance teams to ensure safe and efficient execution of maintenance and modifications, safeguarding worker safety and equipment integrity.
3. Conduct mechanical studies and modifications of plant facilities, focusing on rotating and static equipment, in alignment with technical specifications and business requirements.
4. Perform technical investigations on equipment issues, analyze findings, and recommend countermeasures to prevent recurrence of similar problems.
5. Oversee training for staff and contractors to enhance skills and competency, and ensure compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and SS651).

Requirements

1. At least 2 years of experience in the maintenance of mechanical systems, handling rotating and static equipment.
2. Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing static and rotating equipment, such as heat exchangers, pressure vessels, agitators, pumps, compressors, and blowers.
