Our Client is a Japanese company specializing in water solutions. They are currently seeking to fill the position of Mechanical Engineer.

【 Responsibilities】

1. Review the basic process design from the proposal/sales team;
2. Develop detailed design and P&IDs based on project specification;
3. Prepare engineering calculations and equipment sizing;
4. Review and understand project specifications to ensure company design complies with customer specifications;
5. Prepare equipment datasheets (valve list, equipment list, piping schedule, instrument list, etc);
6. Supervise and review complex equipment skid 3D model to ensure compliance with project specifications;
7. Supervise the preparation of general arrangement drawings, piping detail drawings; and skid structure arrangement drawings;
8. Interface with EIA (Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation) engineer in preparation of project documents;
9. Send inquiries to vendors to obtain price quotations;
10. Review of vendors, fabricators, and sub-contractors quotations to ensure compliance with project specifications;
11. Review of vendors, fabricators, and sub-contractors engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with project specifications;
12. Participate in internal and external design reviews;
13. Prepare O&M manuals;
14. Support testing and commissioning.

【 What you will receive 】

• Basic Salary: S$4,000 - S$6,800
• Variable Bonus (Depends on Company and Individual performance)

【 Requirements & Preferences 】

(Must)

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering;
• 5 to 8 years of Mechanical Engineering experience in industrial water/wastewater treatment;
• Experience in the design of complex skid-based industrial water treatment systems;
• Experience and comfort in working on multiple projects simultaneously;
• Comfortable with travel when required.

(Advantageous)

• Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is ideal.
