Mechanical Engineer (Fire Protection / East/ South)

Responsibilities:

• Supervise subcontractors’ work to ensure compliance with shop drawings, methods, materials, and samples.
• Coordinate with authorities, subcontractors, and clients regarding design, materials, and samples.
• Review fire protection design drawings (sprinkler, alarm, hosereel, riser, hydrant, intercom systems) for compliance.
• Identify discrepancies in M&E, structural, ID, architectural, and client plans.
• Manage projects according to the schedule.
• Attend meetings to resolve issues and update progress.
• Review drawings and specs for compliance.
• Assign tasks to supervisors and ensure work meets standards.
• Lead testing and commissioning of fire protection systems.
• Follow up on inspections and defect corrections.
• Prepare OMM, training, and As-Built drawings for system handover.
• Manage fire protection system maintenance during DLP.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services.
• 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in fire protection.
• Experience with Water Mist or foam systems is a plus.
