Mechanical Engineer (Chemicals)

The Company
Our client, a global leader in the chemical industry, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their chemical manufacturing team. This role reports directly to the Head of Engineering.

The Role
As a Mechanical Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Planning, executing, and optimizing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities using FMEA and RCM methodologies.
2. Diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues to minimize downtime and enhance equipment efficiency.
3. Monitoring equipment performance metrics and recommending upgrades or modifications where necessary.
4. Incorporating sustainable practices into maintenance operations, with a focus on energy efficiency and waste reduction.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
2. At least 3 years of experience in mechanical or maintenance engineering, preferably within the chemical, petrochemical, or manufacturing sectors.
