Mechanical Engineer (Building)

About the role

As a Mechanical Engineer in building services at ENGIE Services Singapore Pte Ltd, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems in commercial and industrial buildings. This is a full-time position based in the East Region.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and overseeing the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, plumbing, and other mechanical equipment
• Conducting site inspections and assessments to identify maintenance and repair needs
• Developing maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of mechanical systems
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Providing technical support and training to facility management staff
• Staying up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems in commercial or industrial buildings
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficient in using CAD software and other engineering tools
• Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards
