Mechanical Engineer

SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Your role at the one-stop service will require you to:

• Be responsible for the design and development of high-quality precision mechanical systems.
• Work closely with Electrical and Software Engineers to define the requirements for the creation of business solutions.
• Be responsible for mechanical component selection, tolerance analysis, motion system design, component evaluation, overall system integration, and finally release to manufacturing and installation at customers’ sites.
• Work with customers on co-development projects.
• Lead and supervise an internal or external design partner in co-development projects.
• Be able and willing to work extended hours in critical phases of project execution.

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate for this position will:

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical disciplines.
• Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in equipment design for Semiconductor/Automation.
• Be a fresh graduate (welcome to apply).
• Possess strong fundamentals in mechanical concepts and problem-solving skills, including knowledge in stack tolerance & Finite Element Analysis.
• Have experience with vision application, thermal modelling, calculation & measurement techniques (an advantage).
• Be a self-motivated individual who is action/results oriented, independent, flexible, and passionate about developing technically excellent products.
• Be willing to get hands-on during the development cycle.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, with cross-cultural awareness and understanding.
