What you'll be doing

• Designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components to meet specific requirements and performance standards
• Conducting research, analysing data, and creating detailed technical reports and documentation
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, and production staff, to ensure the successful delivery of engineering projects
• Identifying and addressing engineering challenges, proposing innovative solutions, and implementing process improvements
• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering
• Ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing industry
• Proficient in the use of engineering design software, such as CAD/CAM/SOLIDWORKS tools
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
• Familiarity with project management principles and experience in delivering engineering projects on time and within budget
