Materials Planner (Plant/ SAP)

Job Responsibilities

• Manage monthly & daily planning of feed stocks, raw materials & packaging by defining consumption based on production nomination, scheduling of inbound deliveries as well as providing a 3-month rolling forecast to suppliers and usage factors to the Supply Planner.
• Member of capacity meeting and responsible for the raw material planning to ensure raw materials availability.
• Establish production planning in close coordination with Production and Sales.
• Control and optimize inventories of feed stocks, raw materials, and packaging to meet agreed stock level targets and supply reliability, including coordination of blocked inventory.
• Manage the 3PL on raw materials inventory and on-time delivery of raw materials to support Operations.
• Perform materials Goods Receipt, maintain accurate inventory data and master data in SAP.
• Monitor the dangerous goods storage capacities usage at 3PL and ensure compliance with the storage permit.
• Monitor the dangerous goods licensing and ensure storage permits are renewed timely before expiry date.
• Track and validate the demurrages for isotanks.
• Invoice verification for raw materials storage and transportation.
• Month-end closing and posting of raw materials.
• Lead the quarterly cycle count for raw materials.

Requirements

• At least Bachelor or Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Business Management / Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of experience preferably in a similar role in a Manufacturing Plant environment.
• Experience in Production or Materials Planning, preferably in a similar role.
• Experience in managing 3PL will be an advantage.
• Planning production using MRP system (SAP or similar).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
