We are looking for a Material Requirement Planner to join our Wyeth Nutritionals supply chain team. In this role, you will ensure the availability of materials to fulfill the requirements of the production plans within the agreed cost boundaries.
A day in the life of...
Responsible for the planning activities of raw and packing materials to meet factory production program requirement at accepted required quality & quantity.
Optimize inventory holding costs vs delivery frequency/related costs for major/key materials (Raw & Pack & inclusive non-saleable HALB).
Fulfill launch of a constrained, feasible and realistic Detailed Production Schedule (DPS) plans for Finished/Semi-Finished Goods for production run in consensus with MPS planner.
Monitor and expedite delivery of materials to ensure timely delivery for production.
Manage day-to-day materials requirement planning (MRP) for factory and ensure Detailed Production Scheduling is consistently delivering achievable plans for factory's operations within given Master Production Schedule.
Coordinate & liaise with relevant stakeholders (Production, QO, Application & Technology Group, Warehouse, etc.) to ensure timely supply for local and export sales including customer orders fulfillment.
Manage exceptions & follow up with relevant stakeholders on corrective and preventive actions.
Liaison with QO team on quality non-conformance and with Procurement team on supplier performance improvement.
Review delivery plans and reschedule recovery based on next arrival date with Procurement team.
Create an optimized replenishment plan for raw and packaging materials over an 18 month horizon.
Monitor supply signals through the use of MRP purchase requisitions ensuring delivery dates, lead times, and required quantities are correct.
Manage directly with the defined supplier the delivery of materials, including handling exceptions and claims management.
Define the stock policy and management approach to be applied to each SKU within their portfolio.
What will make you successful
Bachelors’ Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management or related field.
At least 2 years of supply chain planning experience in a fast-paced production/manufacturing environment.
Proficient in the use of MS Office, especially Excel.
