Join our dynamic Materials Department, where we play a pivotal role in shaping the Media Demand Plan in supporting the Master Schedule (MS) of our drives. We are tasked with converting the Drive MS quantities into Media quantities by products, thereby crafting the crucial Recording Media Operation Demand Plan (RDP). This plan is integral to our factory planners' ability to synchronize production capacities with RDP requirements, considering yield rates, machine/tooling limitations, and material constraints to formulate the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
As a Material Planning Intern, contribute to support the seamless execution of the MPS by factory personnel, ensuring a continuous supply of Media to meet Drive MS requirements. Involve in projects that enhance the accuracy of translating Media demands from the Drive MS Demand, using improved Excel-based planning files.
A key aspect of your involvement will be aiding in the capturing and reporting of Inventory costs to align with Finance reporting. You will be supporting to ensure Recording Media Operation Inventory costs effectively within budget, particularly important due to our recent transition from Oracle to SAP systems.
