Material Planner (1 year contract/CHEMICAL MNC) - West / up to $4200 #HAO

Salary: up to $4200

Duration: 1 year contract

Working Days & Hours: Mon-Fri Office Hours

Location: Gul (company bus from Boon Lay, Jurong east, CCK, Outram, Bedok MRT)

Job Description:

1. Work closely with Supply Chain various department on daily operation matters.
2. Review MRP and material demand to perform material planning to support production schedule.
3. Monitor inventory, review PO backlog and generate daily receiving lists to the warehouse.
4. Plan, control, and trigger material movement via STO with 3PL.
5. Ensure timely delivery of material to support the plant's operation and customer's shipment demands.
6. Analyze and close monitoring of excess and obsolete inventory.
7. Manage forecast accuracy, review safety stock requirement.
8. Support cost-saving initiatives and process improvement.
9. Work closely with sub-con on the delivery arrangements to meet our customer request.
10. Ensure planning activities and procedures are in compliance with the company's ISO 14001/9001.
11. Any other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned.

Job Requirements: Min Diploma/Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain or similar with min 2 yrs of relevant MRP experience & SAP.
