Massage Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate TCM Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in traditional Chinese massage techniques and other TCM modalities, committed to providing holistic and personalized care to clients, and passionate about promoting health and wellness.

Specific Responsibilities

• Follow the instructions provided by TCM physicians to ensure therapies align with clients' health conditions and needs.
• Assist with front desk duties, including handling client inquiries, processing payments, and packaging medicine along with providing instructions to clients on how to take their prescribed medications.
• Perform various TCM massage therapies, such as Acupressure, Gua Sha, and other related techniques.
• Ensure client safety in the clinic and recognize life-threatening symptoms to provide first aid response.

Technical Skills & Competencies

• Effective communication with TCM physicians and ability to recognize clients' various painful symptoms.
• Manage client inquiries, process payments efficiently, and accurately package medications, providing clear instructions on their use.
• Locate and identify meridians, acupressure points, and anatomical landmarks relevant to TCM Tuina and use different TCM Tuina skills to promote client recovery.
• Promote clients' health and safety, interpreting and reacting quickly to life-threatening symptoms.

Minimum Experience: 6 months
