About The Role
As the Cloud Solutions Startup Marketing Manager, you will bring experience in building demand for startups across various stages, from prospect to purchase, usage, and advocacy. Your role will focus on supporting Startup Marketing for the JAPAC region, creating high-impact marketing campaigns that align with growth targets alongside sales teams.
You will work on scaling startup marketing initiatives, collaborating closely with sales, and contributing to the overall success of the SMB startup business. This role involves working with multiple internal and external stakeholders to build a diverse portfolio of programs and initiatives tailored for startups across JAPAC. Our mission is to connect technology with users in impactful and meaningful ways, demonstrating how cloud solutions address challenges ranging from everyday needs to complex industry demands.
Responsibilities
- Orchestrate cloud startup programs in JAPAC, continually optimizing based on performance.
- Collaborate with startup regional sales leadership to align marketing strategies with broader business plans.
- Deliver on targets and identify future program opportunities through data analysis.
- Execute always-on demand-generation programs aimed at acquiring and retaining startups, driving engagement across the lifecycle.
- Build partnerships with venture capital firms and startup incubators to drive co-marketing initiatives.
- Execute media-led advocacy programs at scale to communicate the value of cloud solutions for startups in the JAPAC region.
- Drive cross-channel integrated programs, leveraging paid, owned, and earned media to engage startups, drive trials, build advocacy, and contribute to annual recurring revenue (ARR).
- Document and communicate customer success stories to foster evangelism within the startup community.
Required Skills & Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of marketing experience in a technology environment, ideally supporting sales teams in roles such as Field Marketing.
- Experience in startup marketing roles in the B2B tech industry.
- Proven ability to manage relationships with sales stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Startup marketing experience across JAPAC markets is highly valued.
- Strong capability in engaging sales stakeholders and conveying clear business outcomes with data.
- Experience managing and delivering scaled, cross-channel integrated programs with specific goals and objectives.
- Core experience in search engine marketing (SEM), social media marketing, content syndication, and account-based marketing (ABM).
- Skilled in data-driven storytelling.
- Advanced expertise in reporting and analytics.
