Job Title: Marketing Manager, Fine Fragrance Asia

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing talent to join our team in Fine Fragrance Asia based in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Marketing responsibility in growing Fine Fragrance business across Asia regions with different clients. You will collaborate with our Asia FFE team (sales, FDM, Perfumers, etc.) and closely engage with Asia and Global Marketing Community to leverage global and regional resources. This position will be reporting to the Marketing Director, Fine Fragrance Asia who is based in Shanghai, China. This person will have one subordinate based in Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grows category business (including Fine Fragrance, Premium Home and X-category) in conjunction with creation, development and sales teams by translating marketing insights into fragrance relevant solutions by delivering compelling and on-brand creative presentations - concept, trend, insights & fragrances - to win briefs.
  • Build strong market intelligence, trends tools and consumer understanding to identify new space and product opportunities for our customer and drive a competitive advantage in key markets and across-region for local and global clients.
  • Lead on local-initiated and coordinate on global marketing events such as sensorium, event and selective trade shows.
  • Build dsm-firmenich FFE branding image together with FFE Asia Marketing Community to build SEA image through collaborations, social media establishment.
  • Execute current new model under Marketing lead with excellence, resource integration, drive strategic initiatives and business models for new business growth including but not limited to: Turnkey solutions, celebrity models, etc. to improve the FF team business and added value.

You bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University Degree/Business/Marketing (or equivalent).
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in marketing Asia, or international marketing experience in a Fragrance House or in FMCG Scent or Beauty products is a big plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and excellent presentation skills.
  • English advanced, Bahasa is a plus.
  • Experience in brand building, product conception, analyzing consumer data and spotting market trends.
  • Passion for fragrance industry and storytelling.
  • Good team players, with great engagement with the team.
  • Knowledge in B2C marketing tools and application (i.e. Social media analytics, brand activation, etc.) is a plus.
