Job Purpose:

The Head of Marketing is responsible for working with the Founder to conceive, design, and implement short and long-term plans to generate profitability of the retail and online business. You will be responsible for creating the conditions for success in all aspects of Society A’s business activities, from sourcing, selecting, and developing team members to executing business strategy that delivers annual retail priorities, including the distribution of online activities. You will be a key driver in achieving business goals and ensuring strategies are well communicated to every employee in the team.

Job Description:

Business Management & Marketing

  • Responsible for strategic development plans to achieve sales targets and margins.
  • Perform monthly and yearly budget and forecast plans, including sales forecasts, operating budgets, staffing plans, marketing plans, and capital expenditures.
  • Anticipate the needs of the structure regarding both people and systems to cope with the growth of the brand locally and regionally.
  • Work closely with the team to constantly monitor P&L and cash flow management & operations.
  • Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for communications, public relations, advertising, and events, monitoring progress, ensuring adherence, and evaluating performance.

General Operations:

  • Collaborate with the Merchandising team to determine seasonal buying guidelines for Society A.
  • Oversee buying activities, including direct and indirect purchases for store and ready-to-wear products based on analysis and allocation budgets done during the year.
  • Oversee stocks and inventories in close collaboration with the merchandiser, store, operations, warehouse, and finance department to reduce storage costs and optimize the warehouse.
  • Define the new objectives and KPIs of the multi-brand label structure to align with the growth of individual brands and develop a continuous improvement plan.
  • Define and implement a reporting system for internal users to monitor the supply and demand levels of incoming and outgoing stocks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the luxury or retail sectors.
  • Driven, self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
