About Us: Singapore Ballet (formerly Singapore Dance Theatre) is Singapore’s premier professional dance company, known for its high standards of artistry and rich performances. We stage six seasons a year and run several outreach events to engage new audiences, playing a pivotal role in the cultural landscape of our nation. We are seeking a passionate and creative Marketing Executive to drive audience engagement and support our growth as a leading dance company and premier centre for dance education.

Job Summary: Singapore Ballet is seeking a passionate and creative Marketing Executive to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that promote our performances, programs, and initiatives, driving audience engagement, ticket sales, and brand awareness. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cross-channel marketing, content creation and campaign evaluation, possesses excellent written and communication skills, and preferably, has a passion for the arts.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing Campaign Management

  1. Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns for performances, events, and programs.
  2. Develop marketing plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring campaigns are executed on time and within budgets.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to develop compelling visuals and marketing assets.
  4. Track and analyse marketing metrics (campaign performances, social media engagements, and ticket sales) to optimise future initiatives.
  5. Report regular reports on marketing outcomes, audience trends, and competitor analysis.

Digital Marketing and Content Management

  1. Manage Singapore Ballet’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.), including content planning, production, scheduling, and community management.
  2. Ensure content on the website is updated at all times and work with external vendors on enhancements to improve the user experience.
  3. Develop email marketing campaigns to promote performances, events, and programs.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
  5. Draft press releases, media kits, and pitch stories to secure press coverage.
  6. Monitor and analyse media coverage, regular media clipping, and archive.
  7. Maintain updated contact information of media partners and influencers.
  8. Collaborate with the artistic team to develop behind-the-scenes content and storytelling opportunities.
  9. Implement strategies to grow and diversify Singapore Ballet’s audience base.

Partnerships and Team Collaboration

  1. Plan and execute partnership activations and maximise visibility for partners and sponsors.
  2. Ensure that Singapore Ballet’s branding remains consistent in all partners’ collaterals and platforms.
  3. Develop and monitor metrics for success in all partnership initiatives.
  4. In-charge of front-of-house support for all productions including volunteer recruitment, scheduling, briefing, and logistics arrangements.
  5. Work closely with the artistic and production teams to align marketing efforts with organisational objectives.
  6. Supervise intern and/or junior staff, providing guidance and support.

Qualifications:

  1. Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Arts Management, or related field.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the arts, culture, or entertainment industry.
  3. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Wordpress, etc.).
  4. An eye for design and proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suites, etc.).
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Creative thinking with attention to detail and a passion for storytelling.
  7. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  8. Strong project management skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.
  9. Knowledge of the ballet and performing arts scene is a plus.
