Marketing Director

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Director to lead our efforts in deepening community engagement, driving growth, and building strategic partnerships with projects and ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in blockchain and crypto marketing, a passion for community building, and a proven track record of driving growth through innovative strategies.

1. Community Engagement:
   1. Develop and execute strategies to deepen engagement with Astar's community, including developers, collators, token holders, and ecosystem participants.
   2. Foster a vibrant and inclusive community culture by organizing events, AMAs, hackathons, and other interactive initiatives.
   3. Act as the voice of the community within the organization, ensuring community feedback is integrated into product development and marketing strategies.
2. Growth Marketing:
   1. Design and implement growth strategies to expand Astar's user base, developer ecosystem, and overall market presence.
   2. Leverage data-driven insights to optimize marketing campaigns, user acquisition, and retention efforts.
   3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with product launches, network upgrades, and ecosystem developments.
3. Partnership Development:
   1. Identify, negotiate, and establish strategic partnerships with blockchain projects, ecosystems (e.g., Soneium), and key industry players.
   2. Collaborate with partners to co-create marketing campaigns, joint initiatives, and ecosystem growth opportunities.
   3. Represent Astar at industry events, conferences, and meetups to build relationships and promote the platform.
4. Token Management:
   1. Develop and execute token-related strategies to drive utility, adoption, and value for the Astar Network token.
   2. Collaborate with the product and finance teams to design tokenomics initiatives, including staking rewards, governance mechanisms, and incentive programs.
   3. Monitor and analyze token performance, market trends, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
   4. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to token management and marketing activities.
5. Content & Campaign Strategy:
   1. Oversee the creation of compelling content, including blog posts, social media updates, newsletters, and educational materials, to engage the community and attract new users.
   2. Lead the development of integrated marketing campaigns that align with Astar's brand and mission.
   3. Work closely with the design and content teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.
6. Team Leadership:
   1. Build and manage a high-performing marketing team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to team members.
   2. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creativity and professional growth.

1. 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on blockchain, crypto, or tech industries.
2. Proven track record of driving community engagement, growth and token management in the blockchain space.
3. Strong understanding of blockchain technology, decentralized ecosystems, and the crypto market.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
5. Experience managing cross-functional teams and working in a fast-paced, remote environment.
6. Passion for blockchain technology and a deep interest in the future of decentralized applications.

1. Experience working with Layer 1 or Layer 2 blockchain platforms.
2. Familiarity with Astar Network, Polkadot ecosystem and Soneium.
3. Strong network within the blockchain and crypto industry.
