Job description

The Marketing Director develops and delivers a fully integrated strategy for the business. He/She provides clear leadership in the marketing of media assets through promotions, events, campaigns, partnerships, branding, and franchising to monetise media assets, while constantly adopting new and innovative marketing methods. He/She leads the use of integrated channels within traditional and digital platforms to target customers and increase their awareness. He/She also drives marketing, communications, and public relations efforts.

He/She leverages analytics to identify suitable channels for targeted customers, evaluate marketing activities, and the return on investment (ROI). He/She fosters relationships with key strategic partners and achieves marketing objectives within designated budgets. He/She also influences key stakeholders to familiarise them with the organisation's plans.

He/She is a strong leader, who possesses effective communication skills and is able to develop a highly competent team. He/She is also customer-centric with a strong sense of business acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert for assigned media assets and respective markets.
  • Allocate marketing budgets to integrated channels and platforms with high returns.
  • Analyse marketing initiatives to improve marketing effectiveness and ROI.
  • Approve marketing budgets based on marketing priorities and analysis of return on investment (ROI).
  • Approve partnerships with agencies for marketing communications based on creative and commercial considerations.
  • Develop media plans and campaign pricing by collaborating with business and sales teams.
  • Develop new approaches to community engagement to enhance customer experience and loyalty.
  • Drive creation of marketing budgets based on marketing strategy.
  • Drive the use of database management for marketing automation, customer profiling, and automated benchmarking.
  • Drive the use of innovative approaches to develop cutting-edge campaigns.
  • Establish key metrics to track performance of marketing initiatives.
  • Guide messaging to differentiate media assets from competitors.
  • Guide strategies to drive the use of digital and other non-traditional marketing channels.
  • Identify segments and platforms suited for marketing purposes.
  • Lead the planning of marketing campaign launches for media assets, including media briefs.
  • Manage marketing expenses against allocated budgets.
  • Review customer insights and preferences to identify the marketing strategies for media assets.
  • Set direction for devising messaging and campaign strategy for media assets and business priorities.
  • Set guidelines for all marketing communications to promote the company's brand image.
  • Study business objectives using data-mining and analysis.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years experience in marketing
  • Degree in Business Administration or Business Management with major/minor in Marketing
  • Pleasant, team player, and proactive
  • Good with numbers
  • ‘Can Do’ attitude
