Core Responsibilities
Contribute towards marketing budget planning and management.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with Marketing Director and Marketing Investment Planning team to drive marketing budget planning and tracking.
- Purchase Order Raising (Coupa) – Liaise with budget owners to seek quotations, raise PO requests & track approvals.
- Goods Receive & Invoicing Management (VIM) – Review and approve invoices received from vendors basis PO raised.
- Follow-up with budget owners on budget utilization and Analyze deviations between spending plan & actuals.
- Marketing Spend Plan Management (MRM Light) – Align changes and Upload in MRM Light Planning Tool monthly.
- Measurement and Reporting – Review adherence to marketing investment planning guidelines and Analyze cycle-on-cycle changes. Monthly reporting of budget spending status.
- Collaborate strongly with multiple teams including internal Marketing teams, Distributor marketing teams, Sales teams, Marketing investment planning team in central functional marketing team.
Critical Metrics would be
- Active Consumer Base.
- Adhering to Marketing investment planning guidelines.
- Variance in Marketing Budget Actuals vs Plan.

This role is in India & Emerging Asia business unit (IEA BU), covering 11 markets – a mix of direct coverage (India) and distributor coverage (Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam among others). Overall focus is to accelerate business growth via recruiting kids and adults and expanding footprint across retail channels.
This role will be part of the BU marketing organization, which includes Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, Trade Marketing – all reporting to the Marketing Director for the BU. There are also global functional marketing teams that provide toolkits and guidelines for various marketing tasks to support BU marketing efforts.
Do you have what it takes?
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in marketing or analytics, preferably in branded goods industry in categories such as Sports, Fashion/ Novelty Retail, FMCG, Snacks/Beverages.
- Commitment to results – championing effectiveness and data centricity, bravery to test hypothesis, living a constantly learning attitude, strong analytical skills and ability to turn learnings into action.
- Strong ownership & Can-do attitude!
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
