Job title – Marketing Communications Manager, APAC, HNC (1-year Contract)

The announced business separation of the Animal Nutrition & Health Business Unit from the larger dsm-firmenich corporate entity will trigger numerous critical actions and activities on the part of Health, Nutrition & Care customers and partners during the transition. An important resource is needed to design, deploy and ensure adequate customer transition support as well as to identify, track and provide clear customer communications through these changes (over an estimated period of 12 months) to minimize business disruption while remaining compliant with all regulatory and legal requirements.

An experienced strategic communications specialist who will be part of Global and Regional transition support and deployment teams; working closely with the cross-functional teams (including but not limited to the segments and sales teams in the Asia Pacific + Greater China regions) to support clear and effective customer change communications, leveraging the different communication touchpoints, including a dedicated digital CRM and tracking tool.

Your key responsibilities

  • Support and deploy global change communications related to the separation, and all impacted areas of business operations. Create content and ensure aligned communications in APAC and GC, not limited to press releases, direct customer communications, face-to-face communication sessions etc.
  • Support and deploy additional region, segment, country-specific communications package aligned with global package for APAC and GC business needs.
  • Work through customer service specialists, account managers and also directly with customers to ensure clear communications and implementation of required activities and plans.
  • Provide regular and ad hoc reports to line management and relevant stakeholders, measuring and taking action on agreed performance metrics.
  • Conceptualize, plan and execute additional communication campaigns as may be required for the business needs during the period of employment.

You bring

  • Minimally a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications &/or public relations.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in B2B markets or B2C strategic communications &/or public relations.
  • Experience in B2B speciality chemicals, especially human nutrition & health industry will be an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in the planning and implementation of large-scale and complex communications for strategic initiatives such as mergers, acquisitions & divestures will be an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in planning, implementing and managing strategic communication plans across multiple countries; in Asia-Pacific &/or Globally.
  • Experience in Regional or Global organisations, working with multiple stakeholders across geographies and cultures.
