Marketing Assistant Manager Job Description

Our company is looking to hire a marketing assistant who will be working closely with our marketing team to develop and implement marketing plans and strategies for our brands. As a successful hire, you will be tasked with helping identify marketing trends and opportunities for growth, as well as creating marketing materials such as white papers and case studies. You will be giving presentations about our ongoing campaigns and providing administrative support to our marketing and sales teams.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborating with the marketing manager, internal teams, clients, and partners on marketing strategy.
  2. Helping identify marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation.
  3. Learning and working with various types of software for digital marketing.
  4. Working closely with sales and marketing departments.
  5. Creating marketing materials such as white papers, case studies, and presentations.
  6. Giving presentations.
  7. Maintaining a marketing database.
  8. Providing administrative support to the marketing and sales team.
  9. Preparing, formatting, and editing a range of documents.
  10. Understanding company products and brands.
  11. Performing general office duties.
  12. Creating and interpreting a variety of reports.
  13. Organizing market research.
  14. Analyzing questionnaires and other forms of feedback.
  15. Updating social media accounts.
  16. Performing any other duties assigned by the director.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
  2. Experience in administration or as a sales and marketing assistant.
  3. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  4. A high level of attention to detail.
  5. Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  6. Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
  7. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  8. Good organizational skills.
  9. Related job and internship experience.
  10. Digital marketing experience.
  11. The ability to work under pressure.
  12. Availability to work within opening hours (e.g., evenings, holidays, weekends).
