Marine Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Marine Technician to join our team at MODERN AUTOMATION AND ENGINEERING PTE LTD in Singapore. The role involve providing technical support and maintenance for marine equipment and systems.

What you'll be doing

• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance on a variety of marine equipment and systems onboard vessels
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation of inspections and repairs.
• Collaborate with the operations team
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
• Adhoc tasks by supervisors

What we're looking for

• Min. Diploma in any field of Engineering / Proven Experience
• Strong knowledge of marine equipment, systems, and technologies
• Proficient in electrical, mechanical, and electronic troubleshooting and repair
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant technical certifications in marine electronics or mechanics are preferred.
