Marine Technical Engineer

As a Marine Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Oversee daily vessel movements, documentation, and risk management.
• Ensure adherence to port state regulations and customs compliance for international shipments.
• Handle ship and cargo documents, process purchase requisitions, and manage procurement for vessel maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor approved purchases, review requisitions, and submit monthly reports on operations, demurrage, and voyage performance.
• Assist departments with claims related to demurrage, cargo shortages, and commercial disputes.
• Implement measures to enhance ship performance and minimize operational risks.
• Maintain and troubleshoot marine IC engines, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, and oversee vessel maintenance categorization.
• Coordinate and assign sea staff for vessel operations.
• Manage PMS documentation, maintenance records, and archive reports within the marine department.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine & Offshore Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of international maritime regulations and environmental standards.
• Minimum 3-5 years hands-on experience with vessel operations, maintenance, or technical troubleshooting.
