Marine Superintendent

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Daily monitoring of vessels, stowage plans, passage plans, cargo works, crew management, crew training, PSC preparations, company audit preparations, and ship audit.
2. Manage all service reports and weekly/monthly reports from our fleet.
3. Able to travel overseas at short notice depending on our fleet docking plan.
4. Maintain good working relations with our onboard crew through daily communications via email and phone under their supervisor and other team members to prevent any issues.
5. Physically fit to work under outdoor conditions.
6. Able to work overtime and under pressure.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. SI experience of more than 4 years.
2. Chief Engineer experience with a minimum of 3 contracts.
3. Graduate in Marine Engineering.
4. Familiar with industry standards and compliance requirements.
5. Mature and strong sense of responsibility.
6. Ability to travel on short notice as required.
7. Possess a positive work attitude with efficiency.
8. Good inter-personal skills.
9. Able to work in a team environment independently with minimal supervision.
