Marine Superintendent

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Daily monitoring of Vessels, stowage plans, passage plans, cargo works, crew management, crew training, PSC preparations, company audit preparations, and ship audits.
• Manage all service reports and weekly/monthly reports from our fleet.
• Able to travel overseas at short notice depending on our fleet docking plan.
• Maintain good working relations with our onboard crew through daily communications via email and phone under their supervisor and other team members to prevent any issues.
• Physically fit to work under outdoor conditions.
• Able to work overtime and under pressure.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• SI experience of more than 4 years.
• Chief Engineer experience with a minimum of 3 contracts.
• Graduate in Marine Engineering field.
• Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements.
• Mature with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to travel at short notice as required.
• Possess a positive work attitude with efficiency.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently in a team environment with minimal supervision.
