Marine Service Engineer

Location: Tuas, Work on site (sea)

5 Work Days: 8am-5pm / 8.30am-5.30pm / 9am-6pm

Basic Salary: Open for Discussion + AWS (Dec) + Variable Bonus (Jan) + Medical Benefits + Transport Allowances

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform the repair, maintenance, or overhaul of marine diesel engines (2 & 4 stroke) under the supervision of Engineer / Technicians.
• Comply with all the requirements to carry out the jobs in the shipyards or anchorages.
• Lifting and shifting heavy components of the engine back to the workshop for repair / reconditioning and vice-versa.
• Ensure prompt response and smooth communication with customers.
• Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Operation Manager.

Job Requirements:

• Must have a DEGREE in marine / mechanical / engineering qualification.
• At least 3 years of related experience as a Marine Service Engineer.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair is an added advantage.
• Prefer someone with maintenance experience in marine engine makers like MAN and Wartsila.
• Training period at the office (Tuas); after training, will work on the vessel.
• Willing to work in a shipyard / anchorage environment.
