Known for delivering high-quality and timely projects, the company is the current maintenance contractor for foreshore structures under the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) of Singapore.
Job Summary
The Marine Technical Engineer is responsible for ensuring the operational efficiency, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of marine vessels and related systems. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, particularly in marine electrical & mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee vessel operations, including movement coordination, documentation, and risk management.
- Ensure compliance with port and international maritime regulations.
- Conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of marine electrical systems, IC engines, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Process procurement requests for vessel maintenance and track approved purchases.
- Improve vessel efficiency and minimize operational risks.
- Manage Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and maintain maintenance records.
- Deploy and coordinate sea staff assignments.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Marine & Offshore Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in vessel operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical systems and ability to read electrical & mechanical layout drawings.
- Willing to work in shipyards or offshore environments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and fluent in spoken and written communication.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under time constraints.
