Marine Service Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Possess a strong familiarity with marine electronics equipment from reputable manufacturers, including but not limited to JRC, Sailor, Furuno, Danelec, SAAB, Yokogawa, and Tokyo Keiki. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the marine service field.
2. Conduct Radio Surveys and VDR APT Surveys as required, once assigned and authorised to do so. Candidates must hold a valid GOC (GMDSS Operator Certificate).
3. Complete repair and installation tasks as assigned, with remote support or guidance available when necessary.
4. Prepare and submit comprehensive service, installation, or survey reports to clients or manufacturers upon job completion. Reports will undergo management review as needed.
5. Ensure preparedness for assigned tasks by gathering relevant manuals, software, and technical information internally, and by collecting necessary parts to facilitate job completion.
6. Provide accurate timing and expense details for each job, ensuring all information is truthful and precise.
7. Adhere to all company safety requirements and comply with MPA regulations.
8. Demonstrate a commitment to professional development by pursuing various training courses or engaging in onboard training with senior engineers as deemed appropriate by the company.
