Marine Sales Manager | Energy & Offshore [RRSO]

Our client is a significant player in providing completed integrated telecoms for the offshore/onshore oil and gas industries. As a recognised Telecommunication System Integrator in the oil and gas global market, they provide turnkey project systems that cover a full spectrum of services from the areas of engineering design, project management, supply, integration, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.

They are looking for a Sales Manager (Energy and Offshore) to expand their Energy business in the Oil/Gas and offshore markets in both local and regional areas.

Reporting to the Head of Energy, he/she will:

1. Identify and engage new prospects, recommending marine products, integrated systems, and services.
2. Manage and analyze sales leads to develop and forecast business plans for potential customers.
3. Execute business plans aligned with corporate goals to achieve sales targets.
4. Collaborate with the proposal team to deliver high-quality, customer-focused proposals.
5. Coordinate with the technical team to ensure efficient sales and seamless delivery of systems and services.
6. Address customer inquiries and nurture relationships with existing clients.

Requirements:

1. Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Marine & Offshore).
2. Possess excellent business acumen, communication & presentation skills.
3. Experience as Ex-Sailors, Ex-Radio Officers, or Ex-Navy personnel is an added advantage.
4. Respectable network and customer contacts with local and regional shipyards and ship owners.
5. Good marine industry knowledge in the Energy Sector.
