Position Overview

As a Sales Representative at DELIN (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD., you'll be pivotal in driving sales growth and market penetration in the ASEAN region. You'll be at the front-line of customer-facing operations, focusing on building client relationships, seizing business opportunities, and closing deals.

Our product range includes advanced oceanographic winches, A-frames, Launch and Recovery Systems (LARS), and more. Our production base in Wuxi, China, benefits from our parent company, WUXI MNET EQUIPMENT TECH CO., LTD., with over 30 years of experience and 450+ skilled staff. We serve as a key marketing and sales hub in South Asian and Middle Eastern countries.

Job Duties

  1. Reporting: Directly report to the Regional Sales Manager to align with sales strategies.
  2. Market Expansion: Promote high-quality deck machinery products like LARS and winches in the ASEAN region. Target design consultants, ship owners, and shipyards. We have a strong presence in Brunei, Indonesia, etc., and plan to expand further.
  3. Sales Support: Assist in all sales-related tasks, from lead generation to order processing, under the guidance of the Regional Sales Manager.
  4. Event Participation: Actively engage in planning and executing trade shows and industry events in the ASEAN region for product showcasing and networking.
  5. Business Travel: Make regular trips to ASEAN countries to strengthen client relationships and explore new opportunities.

Qualifications

  1. Relevant Experience:
    Experience as an engineer in marine equipment design and R&D, enabling accurate interpretation of product technical details.
    Background as a ship surveyor or shipowner, offering in-depth understanding of the quality and safety requirements of marine equipment.
    Prior experience in promoting and expanding the market for ship sales or in the geological exploration field.
  2. Sales and Interpersonal Skills:
    Proven sales success, such as exceeding sales targets and receiving positive customer feedback.
    Exceptionally strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients from diverse backgrounds.
    Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to handle complex sales situations.
    Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  3. Personal Attributes:
    Self-motivated and competitive.
    Proficient in using sales tools like CRM systems and digital marketing platforms.
    Familiar with the sales representative industry and its evolving market trends.
